 15th Anniversary Concert. The choir\, along with Vesper Chamber Orchestra\
 , invite community singers to join them in a performance of Mozart’s Req
 uiem  and Haydn’s Mass in time of War.  These towering 18th Century comp
 osers\, who between them defined the classical era\, left immense legacies
  of sacred choral repertoire. “Papa Haydn” created a style characteriz
 ed by simplicity\, sincerity\, and delight. Hints of Bach and Handel find 
 their way into Mozart’s masses\, particularly his Requiem. And where Hay
 dn composed cheerful sacred music\, Mozart tended to imbue his with the me
 lancholy that not only reflect his personality\, but also made his music s
